Job Description

Pionear is seeking a dedicated, disciplined, process professionals who excel in a team environment in the Richmond VA area for one of our fortune 500 clients. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly.

The successful candidate will work closely with product, technology and risk partners in our value chain and will have a background in process as well as an understanding of Capital Ones risk management culture and programs.

General Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain process artifacts; including procedures, process flows, and mitigating controls • Assess effectiveness and implement enhancements to various controls, including both PRIME and Non-PRIME controls. Partner with LOBs to manage control testing and documentation • Manage Business Continuity Plan, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, PRIME Governance, etc. • Work with team members to develop robust risk management processes to support a well-managed • Support Internal Audits, partnering closely with the Business Risk Office to support the overall process, resolve impediments and promote SLT awareness • Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities • Support management of issues and events resulting from process breakdowns to ensure effective containment, remediation and control enhancements

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications: • At least a High School Diploma, GED or Military experience • At least two years of Compliance or Risk Management experience • At least two years of Process Management or Project Management experience • Process management training (e.g. Six Sigma, BPM, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree or Military experience • 3+ years of Risk Management experience within the financial services industry • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or as a Process Manager within the financial services industry
