Job Description

A large financial institution in the area is currently hiring for a call center representative. We are looking for professional candidates with flexible schedules. The ideal candidate will be professional in demeanor, attire, and over the phone. This is a position that requires multi-tasking and strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can complete multiple projects at once while striving to achieve customer satisfaction.

The Customer Service Representative will handle more complex escalated customer calls in order to resolve in the most satisfactory manner for all parties concerned. These inbound calls are non-routine and may  require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures.

  • May respond to faxes and emails
  • Requires extensive knowledge of the organization, products and/or services
  • Possesses high level of technical skills
  • Requires problem solving skills and involves cross selling or up selling other financial products
  • Typically requires 1 to 3 years of customer services and/or collections experience

Job Requirements

Required Skills: 

  • Requires basic knowledge of the organization, products and/or services 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills 
  • Minimum of one year of experience
  • Solid understanding of the inbound call center ability to adapt quickly to change 
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed productivity and quality monitoring goals 
  • Excellent PC skills and computer skills
  • Must be a team player 
  • Ability to seek solutions for customers in a fast-paced environment 

Desired Skills: 

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of telephone sales experience 
  • 1+ years of financial industry or mortgage servicing experience 
  • Collections experience
