Job Description

 Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst candidate will play an integral role in the development of new reporting (both management & financial), financial analysis models, forecasting models and planning models.  The Financial Analyst will also play an integral part in the optimization of a new ERP system (Oracle) and corresponding EPM tools (Hyperion, Essbase, Web Analysis, OBIEE, etc.). 

  • Drive a deep understanding of key drivers at an operation by operation level and develop analytical models by which these drivers will be tracked, understood, communicated and planned. 
  • Work cross functionally to define KPIs for each department and subsequent reporting on defined KPIs. 
  • Monthly forecasting of operating expenses and analysis of monthly plan vs. actual and flux analysis. 
  • Complete monthly departmental expense reporting
  • Annual departmental expense budgeting; play a support role in the strategic planning process. 
  • ROI analysis for capital allocation assessment and post project implementation ROI audit. 
  • Cost savings program reporting & analysis; ensuring identified cost savings are budgeted annually. 

Job Requirements


  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Powerpoint) 
  • Functional knowledge of query tools and databases 
  • Experience using an integrated ERP system (Oracle 12r a plus) 
  • Ability to design and implement process improvements 


  • 4 Year Degree in Finance or Business; MBA strongly preferred. 
  • 4 or more years Financial Analysis experience demonstrating progressively increasing job responsibilities, preferably FP&A 
  • Prior experience in operational or cost analysis strongly preferred
