Customer Service Experience Needed for a Fraud Analyst

We are looking for analytical candidates with Call Center experience, including superior phone and communication skills to work for a major financial institution. We are looking for a reliable candidate with a strong work ethic who is eager to advance his/her career.  The Customer Service Representative/Fraud Analyst reviews customer accounts for the prevention and detection of possible Fraud.  

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Research and analysis of account activity to assess levels of risk and fraud type. 
  • Complete inbound and outbound calls and take appropriate action based on transaction characteristics, varying in complexity. 
  • Perform back office functions related to research and resolution of fraudulent activity and service support. 
  • Research and analysis of account activity to assess the level of risk and make decisions which directly impact the customer experience and risk to Bank of America. 
  • Experience is gained through training and following established procedures and guidelines and research utilizing multiple systems and tools. 
  • Typically reports to Fraud Detection/Prevention Supervisor

Job Requirements


Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Professional demeanor, demonstrating patience, composure, and client service attitude

  • Inbound call center experience and/or experience with Credit Card Fraud, Online wire fraud and Deposit fraud

  • Experience with handling business customers

  • Knowledge of banking operations

  • Knowledge of Fraud system applications  (TSYS, BLAST and BLADES, BOSS/FAST, COIN and BOL)

  • Knowledge of credit card terms and conditions                                                                       

  • College degree or commensurate work experience preferred

Pay:  $20/hr  based on experience
