IT Support Technician

Job Summary:

  • Provide workstation support in a medical environment for end-users and clients that include but not limited to hardware, software and network problems
  • In-depth troubleshooting knowledge of a Windows 7 and 10 Desktop environments
  • Takes ownership of complex technical challenges. Will search for a resolution and root cause.
  • Will write documentation to advance our knowledge-base.
  • Ensures the company’s PC’s, mobile and Wi-Fi, LAN are properly maintained in alignment with corporate guidelines, policies and standards
  • Maintains workstation compliance with regards to OS and application patching, antivirus, and other enterprise management tools
  • Builds accounts for new hires, transfers and will remove accounts during departure.
  • Maintains the inventory count of end user computer equipment (Printers, Desktops and Laptops) throughout the organization.
  • Coordinates and implements new technology and projects. This includes working with Tier II teams in application rollouts, software upgrades, browser upgrades and refresh projects. Able to coordinate Desktop / Laptop deployments
  • Acts as a resource for incident resolution

Job Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in supporting applications or infrastructure
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in PC support
  • Experience performing laptop and desktop imaging and refresh projects required
  • Experience with LAN-WAN Network, telecommunications, and maintenance of computer equipment required
  •  Experience using Active Directory, Office 365, telecom etc. required
