Master Scheduler
Fort Worth, Texas

The Master Scheduler will serve as the expert on project scheduling and will develop and maintain a multi-sourced integrated project schedule for a state healthcare project implementing modular system components. Primary responsibilities include:

Additional duties include:

  • Establish procedures and time frames for input into the master schedule
  • Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule
  • Provide schedule metrics for input into overall project progress reporting
  • Understand and utilize scheduling assets (e.g. schedule standards, templates, policies, schedule management plan templates, procedures, checklists)
  • Review and assess schedule artifacts in support of project audits, proposal development, and baseline reviews
  • Consultative support to project team members,  
  • Create schedule communications –informative and visually appealing schedule communications and graphics for use with internal and external customer
  • Employee is expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their Manager

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience with developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule (IMS)
  • Experience creating custom fields, views, tables, and reports
  • Experience creating project schedule templates and related resources (e.g. schedule management plan template, checklists, quick reference guides, or training materials)
  • Hands-on experience working with project managers to facilitate schedule development
  • Experience creating schedule related communications and presentations for sponsor or client presentations

Preferred Qualifications(Soft Skills, nice to have skills)

  • Experience using Macros, VBA, Excel, and/or out-of-the-box functionality to extend Microsoft Project to create custom tools and reports
  • Experience using Microsoft Visio/Excel in coordination with Microsoft Project to create custom schedule reports
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
  • A team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible “can-do' attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success
  • Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule
