Operations Specialist


A large financial institution in the area is hiring for Operations Specialist with a tax background. Candidates must be highly professional in demeanor, attire and communication skills. As an Operations Specialist you will be part of a team required to support Operations Client Relationship Management & Client Integration in the efforts to source tax forms from clients in order to be compliant for FX and Derivatives.

The Operations Specialist will involve liaising with internal counterparts and external clients in order to ensure we have validated Tax Foms on file, and associated reporting and client-by-client accountability for status of the process. 



Job Description:

  • Cross referencing of client accounts and associated Tax Forms
  • Understanding the Tax Docs requirements per client/ jurisdiction leveraging decision trees
  • Sourcing Tax Forms from various internal & external data sources and clients
  • Ensuring validation of sourced tax forms by operations colleagues, and appropriate action if validation fails
  • Tracking and accountability of progress through the stages per client for Tax Forms MIS and Reporting 
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Some experience of financial markets / client interactions
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences, skills and backgrounds
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, ability to manage time to deadlines and knowing when to escalate early
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
