Payroll Specialist
Charlotte, NC

The Payroll Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Payroll Benefits Manager with semi-monthly and off cycle payroll processing and will perform all payroll processing functions


Job Requirements

Experience:

Reviewing electronic time cards to ensure information submitted is complete, accurate and in compliance with Company policy guidelines and federal/state requirements.

  • Collection and input of payroll data (i.e., system maintenance, pay changes, new hires, terminations, paid time off, insurance, and other payroll deduction. etc.) and reviewing (cross-checking) processed payroll information for accuracy Transmitting payroll to ADP for processing, preparing and distributing files for benefits deductions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and managers as defined by department standards and respond to requests for information, HR/payroll related forms, etc., or direct employees to appropriate resource (i.e., other internal departments, outside customer service agents, etc.).

Respond timely (within department standards) to requests for information (i.e., internal and external auditors) per pre-established guidelines
