Regional Human Resources Manager

This position mentors and supports the business and field Human Resource Managers in all areas of HR. This position is also responsible for managing projects, analyzing metrics, identifying continuous improvement initiatives, and finding HR solutions for situations impacting the business.




Primary responsibilities include:


  • Maintain safe and healthy work behaviors.
  • Provide HR expertise and resources to the business in the areas of performance management, investigations and problem resolution, legal compliance and auditing, and training.
  • Participate in and manage HR projects and CI initiatives in the areas of employment, employee relations, training and development, payroll and others as required by business needs.
  • Act as the primary HR contact for the Support Services location of 120+ associates.
  • Utilization of financial and operations knowledge to create practical HR solutions for our customers.
  • Must have excellent leadership, communication and organizational abilities, effective analytical and problem solving skills, and working knowledge of MS Office and Lotus Notes.
  • This position interfaces with field and corporate based associates at all levels.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • This position reports to the Vice President, Human Resources, Customized Distribution and provides support to 1,400+ associates.
  • This position requires a minimum of 7-10 years Human Resource Generalist experience, as well as supervisory experience. A proven track record of successful and progressive leadership is required. 
  • Experience with field locations, the distribution industry, project management and virtual work teams is strongly preferred. A strong working knowledge of employment law and HR policies and procedures is necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred, as is an SPHR Certification. A proven and progressive track record of success in human resources is required.
