Job Description

Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot PC and telephone hardware and software on site.
  • Administer and maintain our modern IT-infrastructure in the fields of mobility, Unified Communication, network, Active Directory, clients and peripherals
  • Liaise with suppliers and other third parties
  • Set up and install new desktop, telephony and mobile devices
  • Support ad hoc IT projects
  • Provide training sessions on our IT infrastructure and software applications for new and existing users
  • Handle documentation and monitoring tasks

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related major or comparable experience
  • 2 to 3 years of experience handling desktop or helpdesk support (note that compensation for this role is commensurate with this level of work experience)
  • Detailed knowledge of current Microsoft products is needed, as well as experience in maintenance and support of peripherals and mobile devices (Apple)
  • An independent, reliable and client oriented working style with the ability to explain technical concepts in layman's terms
  • Able to find a creative/out of the box solution in addition to being able to follow instructions is key
  • Capable analytical and communication skills, persistence/patience, able to work with both efficiency and accuracy, sometimes within tight time constraints is idea
